Through our Buschjost range we offer Solenoid Valves, Angle Seat Valves, Flange Valves and Dust filter valves in Brass, Stainless steel and Plastic. We also offer custom manifolds and control cabinets integrating pneumatic and electronic components individually designed to suit your application.

Applications

Water Treatment/ Ozone sterilization/ Desalination/ Water filtration

Responsible handling and treatment of clean water is increasingly becoming a priority for commercial and domestic consumers and authorities. Keenly aware of its limited supply, we turned our attention to the water treatment market some years ago. Our products and custom solutions are to be found in applications ranging from sea water desalination though to water sample analysis

  • Or Brass, Stainless steel and Plastic diaphragm valves are developed specifically for handling water and are ideal for controlling both the intake and treatment process flow.
  • Our direct and indirect acting solenoid valves are finding increasing application in custom solutions, are proven products, for example for controlling ozone or air.
  • Our valves are used on Reverse Osmosis systems on Desalination plants to control the flow of sea water
Waste to Energy/ Energy from Waste

Waste to Energy plants, also known as Energy from Waste plants, process waste into a fuel source to generate electricity and/or heat. Waste, typically plastic, is incinerated creating steam which is used to generate heat or electricity.

The high concentration of particles in the flue gas means that heating surfaces in the incinerators are coated in a particulate layer. Norgren Impact Cylinders (Rapping Cylinders) are used to rap against the heating surfaces which shakes off the build-up material.

Dust filter systems

Dust filter systems (or Dust collector systems) are used across industries such as cement, agriculture and feed, metalworking, mining, foundries etc. where there are high levels of particulate contamination. Dust filter systems are used to remove the contaminants from the air in these industries to prevent harm to the environment, people or machinery. Norgren offer Dust filter valves (Pulse valves) as well as complete Filter Cleaning Systems under our Buschjost brand.

Direct Acting Solenoid Valves

Valves directly actuated by the solenoid. Suited for use with neutral and aggressive gases and liquids.

Indirect Acting Solenoid Valves

Indirectly actuated valves use the pressure difference in the operating fluid to open and close the valve. This allows for lower power consumption and higher pressure in your system.

Dust Filter Valves

These valves provide an intense pulse of air blasts into the soiled filter element causing dust and loose dirt from the filter fall to the ground. Dust filter valves for air-blasting have been developed to allow efficient and inexpensive cleaning.

Angle Seat Pilot Valves

Angle seat pilot valves are robustly designed and are used in a wide variety of applications, including temperature stability applications, applications where resistance against aggressive mediums are required, or where fluids with high viscosity and contamination have to be controlled.

Flange Valves

Flange valves are so known as they come with flange connections enabling them to be mounted directly to a pipeline. They are widely used in oil & gas stations, nuclear power stations, waste incineration plants etc.
